В Колумбии с 1 января по 4 июля этого года были убиты 123 общественных лидеров. Об этом говорится в докладе группы общественных организаций.
Согласно докладу «Все имена, все лица», 80% убитых были членами крестьянских и индейских организаций.
Около 13 процентов имели отношение к выращиванию коки, в частности работающие в сфере замещения сельскохозяйственных культур или протестующие против уничтожения посевов государством.
Почти 15 процентов жертв — женщины. Около 30 процентов были связаны с ФАРК, многие были связаны с «Патриотическим маршем» (Marcha Patriotica), или Colombia Humana, — партией Густаво Петро.
Другой доклад об убийствах в Колумбии с 2002 по 2015 год показал, что большая часть смертей не связана с полувековым внутренним конфликтом в Колумбии. В нем говорится о том, что в насилии центральную роль играют силы государственной безопасности.
В докладе освещаются незаконное наблюдение государственной разведкой, необоснованное уголовное преследование, внесудебные убийства государственными вооруженными силами, казни военизированными группировками, действующими с молчаливого согласия государства, чрезмерное применение силы Колумбийского мобильного эскадрона против беспорядков.
«Борьба за доступ к земельным и природным ресурсам, как и за социальную справедливость и ответственность стоит за насилием против тех, кто бросает вызов экономическим и политическим элитам», — говорится в докладе.
«Однако вооруженный конфликт используется, чтобы оправдать или скрыть этот тип насилия. Многих убитых правозащитников представляли как партизан, убитых в бою, при явлении, которое называется ложное срабатывание».
Доклад подготовил коллектив адвокатов Jose Alvear Restrepo совместно с Европейским центром за конституционные права и права человека, юридическим объединением Yira Castro, Межцерковной комиссией за справедливость и мир, Межотраслевой группой по правам человека и программой «Мы защитники».
